GOLD CALLING® TV

Contact Management Software

GOLD CALLING®

Most frequently asked questions (FAQs)

1. Is this a web-based software?

No. The software runs right on your computer. In this way you are not slowed down when the Internet traffic and bandwidth demands are peak not vulnerable to other Internet hazards, like inability to create back-ups.

2. Will the database become overused as more copies of the software are sold?

No. We regularly change the data in the install package so that new copies of the software are substantially different. This is done to ensure that the data is not overused. Keep in mind that purchasers of the $1499 version receive an additional 25,000 opportunity seeker leads each week.

3. Is the software difficult to use?

Not at all. It is fully automated so that anyone can use it. And tutorials are available to walk you through each step of using the software, from installation all the way through advanced functions.

4. What are the computer system requirements to use the software?

PC with Windows 2000 or XP 256 MB of RAM High speed Internet access (cable, DSL, or satellite) Computer headset and microphone

5. Is training and technical support provided?

Yes. We have recorded tutorials available at http://www.goldcalling.com/downloads. In addition, there are live weekly software and script training calls. Click here to view the current schedule:

6. Can this software be used outside of the Network Marketing industry?

Absolutely! The small other home-based businesses as well as anyone in an inside or outside sales position will literally die for this technology. Other industries who already have shown interest include Mortgage Brokers, Insurance Agents/Brokers, Foreclosure Prevention, Debt Elimination and Real Estate. When you tell them about the A.R.M. feature you will see their immediate interest in Gold Calling®. A multi-user corporate version will be available after Jan. 2006.

7. Does your database contain numbers that are also in the National Do Not Call (DNC) list?

Yes. However, these numbers are scrubbed against the DNC list by the 3rd party voice broadcast company and “excluded” before your message is delivered. This means you will not pay to advertise to those who do not want to receive your calls.

8. I already have a VOIP service, can I use that with Gold Calling®?

If you plan to take advantage of the Automated Response Management (A.R.M.) feature, what sets this software apart from anything else in the world, you will need to use the VOIP service we provide. This is the only VOIP service our software integrates with. Thus it is the only way you will automatically database inbound callers and establish them as serious prospects you need to market to. GOLD CALLING® Most frequently asked questions (FAQs)

9. Do you provide replicating websites to promote Gold Calling?

Not specifically ‘replicating’. In regards to what will be available announcements will be made shortly.

10. Does Gold Calling® work on a MAC?

No. It presently only works on a PC but perhaps we can recommend that you buy a $400 Dell so that you can start automating your business with the Gold Calling® A.R.M. feature right away? Re; VOICE BROADCASTING

11. Is the voice broadcasting done from my computer or over my phone line(s)?

No. The Gold Calling® software connects to one of two (soon to be three) 3rd party companies, that do the broadcast. This is important as the screening against the NATIONAL DO NOT CALL list is done by them.

12. Who is Protus?

One of the 3rd party voice broadcast providers that the Gold Calling® software automatically connects to. Another is Voice Shot and the third will be a VOIP broadcast option (yet to be announced).

13. Is there a set-up fee for using Protus to send voice broadcasts?

No, there is no set-up fee. You simply need to fund your account by pre-paying, for example $50-$100. Your voice broadcasts are deducted from the balance in your account. And you can set the account so it is automatically refunded.

14. Is there a monthly fee for Protus on top of Per Minute Rates?

No. You are paying for the minutes only and can add funds to your account as needed.

15. After calling Protus, and setting up an account, how long does it take to start using the service?

It takes Protus approximately about 24 hrs to set up your account. In the meantime, be sure to download the Gold Calling® software and view the install and configure tutorials. Once your Protus account is set up, you will be ready to go immediately. VOIP = Voice over Internet Protocal.

16. Can you use any VOIP service? (repeat question)

No, the most exciting feature in Gold Calling® works with special integration to only one VOIP company at present. In the future we will offer options but this will require added programming and configuration.

17. Is Protus the VOIP service?

No, Protus is a landline voice and fax broadcasting service provider only.

18. Can you use any VOIP service to integrate with the Gold Calling® software?

No. We chose a supplier that our participants could subscribe to for VOIP based on two important factors;

(A) this innovative supplier is more geared towards business service rather than residential (this will be very important later on), and;

(B) they were willing to provide us with all the services we required. GOLD CALLING® Most frequently asked questions (FAQs)

19. Does it cost money to setup my VOIP service through Gold Calling®?

Yes, though the one-time $5 fee is minimal indeed.

20. Is there a monthly fee for my VOIP service?

Yes, as with all services where you receive a telephone number! The cost per month is a minimum of $10. It could be more if you choose to have a phone number in other countries or other parts of the U.S. At present, each added number costs $10/month, though prices could vary.

21. Do I need a special phone for my VOIP service?

No, you can answer calls right on your computer. In fact, wherever you are, if you use a Notebook/Laptop PC, your calls will find you! All you need is a headset with a microphone. Even Bluetooth® headsets will work fine. You can, if you choose, get a Router with a phone jack and use that to plug a normal phone into and connect to VOIP that way too. However, the A.R.M. feature will not work unless you have calls reaching you through your PC/Laptop/Notebook. Internet Connectivity.

22. Will Gold Calling® work with dial up?

Literally speaking yes, but functionally no! You need high bandwidth to upload voice broadcasts. You need high bandwidth for VOIP. Though the software will open and operate on a computer connected to the Internet by a dial up service none of the integrated services will be functional without bandwidth.

23. Will Gold Calling® work with a Satellite connection?

Yes, definitely, though satellite connections are tricky! The concern is the reception of VOIP calls not so much the uploading of voice broadcasting. However, if the satellite connection fails, as it does from time to time with sunspots and other challenges, the VOIP calls will hit voice mail and collect a message for you.

24. What are the best types of high bandwidth connections?

Cable and DSL are the most common home service providers. DSL is through the phone company and the ‘cable’ is your television cable provider. Both are fast and usually reliable depending on where you are. It is important to note that some DSL customers are not on the full bandwidth package, in other words they opted to use a slower service, which is slightly cheaper but interferes with various things you need to be able to do. If this is you, spend $10 or $15 more a month for full service, it will be the best money you ever spent!

25. Can I use a Wireless Internet service or ‘hot spots’ and still be on a high bandwidth connection?

Yes, absolutely and that is one of the more exciting things about the future, which is here now. With a Notebook/Laptop and a W.I.FI card you can log on anywhere that Verizon or other service provider supplies wireless connection. That means you can send and receive VOIP calls through your computer and save money over Cell phone rates but more importantly continue to benefit from the unique A.R.M. feature only found in the Gold Calling® software. GOLD CALLING® Most frequently asked questions (FAQs) A.R.M. = Automatic Response Management.

26. I know what A.R.M. stands for but what does it do??

A.R.M., or the Automatic Response Management system, is the feature in the Gold Calling® software that grabs the Caller I.D from the integrated VOIP service and displays the name of the prospect on screen before you even answer the call! No other Contact Management software that runs on your PC has anything like A.R.M. And this feature’s importance is simple. It means that even part timers can database everyone that calls them, something that 99.99% of MLMers never do. Having this database, what we call an extended warm market, imperative. Why? Because these people may not like your venture but they may join what you are doing later. Or they may buy the Gold Calling® software as well as other back-end products because like you, they need prospects for their home-based business.

27. What if I miss the call, how do those prospects end up in my database?

A.R.M. presently only handles in-bound calls that come in while your VOIP service is activated on your PC. In a few days we will release what we call A.R.M. # 2 that will receive all missed calls as an email with an attached WAV file. Then it will take the Caller I.D. from inside the email, find the record, update it and attached the recorded message (WAV file) to the data record of that prospect!

28. How does A.R.M. get my prospect’s name from the Caller I.D. and add it to the database?

A.R.M., or more correctly put, Gold Calling® doesn’t know the prospect’s name. It only takes advantage of the number to locate a prospect already named in the database. Because most ad campaigns start with already knowing the prospect’s name and phone number we programmed Gold Calling® with this revolutionary feature.

29. What does A.R.M. do if the prospect calls from another telephone number?

This is a great question. If your prospect calls back from a cell phone, business phone or another line from home A.R.M. will not find the prospect. In this case it asks if you would like to ADD this new prospect, putting the phone number in automatically, or asks would you like to modify the search. Then, once you asked the prospect what telephone number you called them at and locate their record with the modified search, it then asks if you want to associate this new number with them? The A.R.M. Modify/Associate feature you can automatically add this additional number to their record as a VOIP, CELL, Business or ‘ALT’ Phone so that whenever the prospect calls from that number the system will retrieve their name next time without a modified search.

30. Can A.R.M. be used for locating and displaying downline members in Gold Calling®?

Yes, Gold Calling® is not just a prospecting tool but an organizing tool too. It keeps track of archived data (suspects that did not all back until weeks after a broadcast) and downline. Thus you can instantly access your downline at any time via phone or email using this system. The time saved by this feature alone will allow you to do more prospecting.
