Humanitarian-Infopreneur Helps Feed A Child
Humanitarian-Infopreneurs will be able to select the Project they want their system to support. We are currently in the process of approving other projects to add. For now please take a look at our Project in Thailand. Over 100 years ago, Hill Tribe people migrated south from China into Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, and Thailand. We visited a small village inhabited by members of the Karen tribe. Chiang Mai is a busy and modern city in the North of Thailand. But just 80km north of Chiang Mai in the hill tribe villages, people are facing a daily struggle for survival.

Life is very hard up there and the families are very poor. There is no electricity, very poor sanitary conditions and no medical facilities. This is a very isolated mountainous area and they try to make their living through farming. Their basic diet is rice, for this is what they mostly produce. This community makes very little money on what they produce. There is no medical center here. There are no doctors or healthcare professionals within 80km. Although crops have generated some revenue for Hill Tribe families, the cost of traveling to healthcare clinics located in more populated areas for medical treatment is very expensive. Donations of primary care medicines, first aid supplies, and nutritional supplements are essential to these people. The children are not starving but they are malnourished due to the poor quality of food they receive. We decided to come here, after we heard that many of the children are very weak and quite often get sick. But now we are beginning to change all that.
