It all started several months ago when Tellman Knudson first met a guy named'Mark Joyner.'
Have you heard of him?

Mark was one of the early pioneers of online business who got his start well over 10 years ago.
Since then, he's sold millions and millions of dollars in products and services - most of it on a 'zero dollar' ad budget. (Yeah, you read that right.)
Many credit him as being the pioneer of the 'e-book' and he wrote one that was downloaded over 1,000,000 times.
He has created several websites that reached the top 100 of all websites visited in the world. One of them reached #36 within the first 6 weeks of its release.
He was the pioneer of a great many of the technology, tactics, and ideas you now see used every day on the Internet.
I could go on, but ...
That's the 'old' Mark Joyner.
You probably don't know the 'new' Mark Joyner.
A couple years ago, Mark closed down his businesses (he owned several and had 45 employees before he decided to shut everything down).
His announcement was a big shock to everyone, but people accepted it and he disappeared for about two years before he came back into public view very recently.
It was strange seeing him come back after his big 'farewell' but just about everyone shrugged and accepted it and welcomed him back - glad that he was back on the scene.
Now, that's the public story and most people already know this if they haven't been under a rock these last few years.
The private story is actually far more interesting.
Want to know what *really* happened to Mark?
I'm in a rare position to know.
I was able to spend quite a few hours with Mark in a cafe close to his condo in South Beach and he told me something that at first was very hard to accept.
We joked around a bit and talked marketing tactics (Mark is hilarious and would give his shirt off his back to help someone), then he grew silent ...
Mark took a sip of his espresso and stared at me hard for almost 15 seconds.
'Tellman ... what would *you* do if you suddenly realized that everything you knew about marketing was wrong?'
I get chills up my spine every time I think of that moment. That was the beginning of the end for me.
Those of you who know Mark know that he's the kind of guy that can totally shift your worldview in just a short conversation.
He is, truly, a genius.
That's said about a great many people, but there are very few genuine visionaries who have the ability to change the world every time they open their mouths.
Mark is one of them.
What Mark proceed to tell me was nothing short of astounding.
I'm still reeling from what he revealed in that conversation. I didn't quite understand how important and, well, revolutionary these ideas were, but I do now.
