The Tea Party has lost any power they had because they have been co opted and hijacked. The message has been completely distorted with shariah law, labor unions, the tyrannical right and abortion and the birther issue.
The Tea Party got clobbered over the 2011 budget. this is their own fault. Fox News has destroyed the Tea Party. Glen Beck has destroyed the Tea Party and you can't even get 300 people together anymore.
It is enraging and I urge the Tea Party advocates, the true ones, to get back on message. We need to stop funding the wars and stop letting oligarch media destroy the best chance we the people have had in a long time to take back our government from corrupt politicians who are bleeding us dry to serve the oligarchs.
Right--vote out moderate Republicans and replace them with know-nothing extremists like O'Donnell and Paul. That's progress for America! And as for racism--I've read Tea Party blogs, and believe me, these are racists! Homophobes too! And barely literate. Accepting TONS of money from corporations, then refusing to disclose. These are VERY psychologically unbalanced people in the Tea Party, VERY disconnected from reality, and very dangerous to American values and liberties.

How much care was given to putting this article on a web-page? The core of the article appears to be well written but to have so many question marks interspersed throughout the article makes the author look like an idiot!
